We were flying down at a deactivated saw mill in town. Lots of pavement but also lots of buildings:-( Lost depth perception on final between 2 buildings and made a great mess of my Apache on the roof. After recovering many, many pieces, I get out the SE have a good flight, and while I am moving back from the flight line I step on the antenna wire, and rip the tail apart. I knew that wire was going to be a problem. So now I spend 6 hours last night overhauling an Eagle so I have something to fly today as my 4*60 is finished yet. I hope can come home today with a compete airplane. Oh well build them fly them, or build them to look at em.

As I say, if you're gonna fly 'em, you're gonna break 'em. If you want your planes to look as good as new, hang them from the ceiling when they're done and never take them out of the house.

I just had a similar accident with my SE, I was flying at a new place, and clipped the front of the runway on my wheels while landing, ripped off the landing gear, which shot the plane straight up in the air, then it came down and separated the front of the plane from the back....I am just going to buy a new fuse kit....Man, I love that plane.
