this is no fake! i got this of the net along with the story behind it.
this was taken in england at what they call a revival of some kind. the guys was doing 215 knots over a pit area of some kind. the stroy goes he came in so fast and low the guy taking the pic only had time to get the camera to his chest to get the pic. anyways it's cool

Man if the picture was real the five guys on the deck would have probably been ducking or something! Don't forget you can hear these things a mile away no matter what!!!
It is cool however...

I would guess it is a fake. first of all no rudder is being applied in knife edge flight to keep the nose up. Second a plane traveling at 200+ knots would be a bit blurry against it's background.
Third 30 days for a stunt like this, they would probably boot him off the ship

It's pretty easy to tell it's a fake once you look at the deflection of the control surfaces and the voticies coming off the wing root. Something rather messy would have happened if it weren't a fake.
I can't read, but I can take a simple look at a picture!

FOR THOSE WHO THINK IT MIGHT BE A FAKE , I EMAILED THE USS STENNIS AND WILL KEEP YOU POSTED AS TO THE ANSWER. IF THE PLANE IS IN A HARD BANK AND MOVING AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED , IT WOULDN'T NEED RUDDER MOVEMENT TO KEEP IT STRIAGHT. THE VAPOR COMING OFF THE WINGS IS PROOF THAT IT IS TURNING HARD OTHERWISE YOU WOULDN'T GET VAPOR TRAIL. IN A KNIFEEDGE YOU GET NO VAPOR.HOW OFTEN DOES ANYONE USE THE RUDDER IN A SIMPLE TURN AT HIGH SPEED, NOT VERY MANY. SLOW TURNS I DO ALOT WITH MY WARBIRDS. I HAD AN F-18 AND THAT DIDN'T EVEN HAVE FUNCTIONING RUDDERS ON THAT AND IT FLYS GREAT! THAT'S MY TWO CENTS :+)
