Default Crashed my 1/4 Scale A-7 Corsair II

I tried to do a loop on my second flight with this 108" 30lbs beast. On the bottom end of the loop at 3' off the ground I hit the only bush in a 3 block area. The guys at the field said that the bush died from being uprooted by the plane. The plane was still 3' off the ground stuck in the bush. The 4" spinner went about 30' from the rest of the plane. The wing was shoved a foot back in the fuse'. My wife was boiling mad when she saw the tape of the crash.

3' of the ground means 3 feet right?

Why soooo low, if you try some aerobatics for the first time with a new airplane go way up high, that way you have the time to correct if neccesary.
Too bad you lost it, it's quite a unique airplane I think, not much RC models of this one.

Did you say tape? Is there any way we can see it?
Sorry about your loss but I love a good crash video.

Also, any chance of repairing it?

I have not been able to find the taped footage. I started the loop at 300'. The plane weighed so much it dropped on the downward leg more than I realized till it hit the bush. My wife still gripes at me about this goof after 4 years.

IMy wife was boiling mad when she saw the tape of the crash.
I never understood that statement. Shouldn't that be other way around?

Why was she mad? it's not as if she has a real attachment to RC if she is not involved with it.

She wanted to see it fly but had to work that day. The only day it ever flew for me.
