Default Chippy fall down and go boom

Was doing a flat turn and noticed it starting to stall... applied throttle to gain airspeed but the torque from the engine added to the spin ... now it facing straight now with about half the altitude it needs to level out

said a "colorful" word as it hit the ground

its not bad.. the firewall came off mostly clean.. one gear ripped out and the wing mounting blocks came out dragging some bits with them.

some epoxy and CA and it will be up again I just got to get the time.

I'm debating whether to redo the entire covering or just patching it as it was kinda ratty when i got it (a few months ago)

oh well... at least its not totaled its my favorite plane

Shoot man that ain't bad. Wish all my crashes were that clean.

Slap her back together and fly the bejeebers out of it. Who made the kit. Every Chippy I've seen flies good. Might like to build one myself.

I will most likely be at the field Mercer County/Assunpink on Sat or Sun this week if I do not go Tuna fishing.

we fly out of North Branch Park in somerset county.

its off of 22 in between 22 and 206 in northbranch off milltown rd.

355 Milltown Road, Bridgewater, NJ 08807
is the address to plug into your favorite map program/website
or go here for directions

I will not be around this weekend due to family issues (with me family is allways and "issue" )

NBP requires a permit to fly (county property) and the out of county rate is $30 and expires dec 31st so you may want to hold off a little bit, one can be picked up during buisness hours at the park office (right in the park)

Where is your field? maybe I can plan a daytrip sometime to come visit (its always fun to fly in new places)

He can fly as a guest if one of you stand next to him when he is flying. I am sure you can do that.

I would like to get together sometime. You could fly at my field as my guest if you like. I would be interested in flying at your field as well. I always get nervous at new fields, and it is about time I get used to it. I get nervous mostly because I am spoiled rotten by my clubs huge field, and flying at my farm. I live in Princeton Junction. I’ll try to track you down again maybe for the weekend after Labor day weekend. In addition a good time at my field is the Warbird event. I forget which weekend it is this year but we always get a 100+ plane turnout. It is in the AMA mag under NJ September events. Good way to get the feel for the field and meet modelers from the tri-state area. Fields alot nicer when there only ten or so of us though.

I'll talk to my friend to see if he is attending the warbirds event as a vendor.

he runs "The AeroplaneWorks" and he cuts Ziroli kits and such.

I went ot the Warbirds over NY this year and had a fun time. too bad i dont have any warplanes yet.

let you know if im gonna be going.
