RE: Full Power Profile Crash!
Great video. So crashing your plane on purpose is wasting money. Yeah maybe. But its been said before, ITS THEIR MONEY. Besides, how is that any different than, oh lets say, a destruction derby. Why put work and money in a car, when you are gonna go out there and tear it up on purpose. Cause its fun. " I can barely afford one plane much less one to tear up". Quit cryin. Dont tear yours up and you dont have anything to worry about. Oh, I especially like how everyone is whining about the video when there was a disclaimer posted that said "DO NOT WATCH THIS VIDEO IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE SOMEONE CRASH A PLANE ON PURPOSE. This seems to offend people, so don't watch if you are going to complain about it." I dont guess that meant anything. I just wish people would quit griping about everthing. Just because it is something that you wouldnt do, that automatically makes it wrong or bad. Heck, I wouldnt crash a plane on purpose, but I somebody is, and they are gonna video it, then I am gonna watch and laugh. If you ever decide to crash another plane on purpose, video it. Oh, and make sure it is a warbird and email it to all the complainers on RCU.

The truck video wasn't funny. It was awesome! Next time you abuse the Top-Gun cliche, get a twin turbine 1/5 scale F-14, and do it right! By the way, did y'all know the motor cyclist? He looked like he was enjoying it all.

You have the right to do with your own property as you see fit. It still doesn't change the fact that a lot of people find it (rightly) objectionable.

Nice vids, my only complaint is that you seem to have been a bit careless. What if the guy with the video camera had missed it? A situation like that needs to have redundacy. And even if both cameras get the video, it'd be nice to see from different angles.

Poor display of maturity. My bet this is the same crowd that went to and enjoyed "Jackass, The Movie".

Thank you for your feedback. For some reason my warning on the first post is not working. O well.

Vert - Thanks for sharing the video with us and putting up with the ridicule.
Do you take requests? The next plane you decide to "retire", try a full throttle knife edge down the runway and see "how low you can go!".
I always prefer the cartwheeling crashes that cover at least 40 feet over the straight in splaters. The cartwheel method usually take a little longer to clean up though.
Of all the crash videos I've seen, none have come close to the Yellow Kangaroo Turbine knifeing in at over 150MPH. The Biplane mid-air with the inverted Extra is a close second.
Yeah, crashes are cool. Especially when it's not yours. [8D]
And, of course, as long as no one gets hurt!
