RE: Spitfire landing blooper/video
Looks like my trainer landing...
HAHAHA
Although by the 4th bounce I would have hit the Go Button and gone around again...
Nice Airplane...

I had the same problem with my GP RYAN STA arf. Then I found a trick from the 1:1 pilots. Since we can't see our airspeed, and we're trying to 3-point the landing there is a chance that you're still touching down too fast and so you're hitting before the airplane is stalled.. This is evidenced that the plane still flys after the first bounce. So you're holding a good amount of up to get the tail down and the airplane bounces. So now your up elevator is helping the bounce to go to even a higher angle of attack and make the plane climb. Solution... just as the wheels touch the first time let off of the up elevator, to level, or if the plane will handle it VERY SLIGHTLY nose down. Now there is no elevator force to help the bounce go up, so the wing is now at a lower angle of attack and it rolls instead of bounces. Haven't bounced one since I found this out

That was a perfect landing. He was just keeping the Spit out of the puddles on the runway! The only problem was hitting the mud at the end.

The best part is after the second bounce someone ( the pilot?) says "Oh God" also after the plane stops he says "that THING bounced"
that was kind of funny when combined with the sound effects. glad to see the plane at least looked ok

It's all in the timing..time..timeiing.
With just a little flair a half second earlier....
But the puddles were missed admirably.
