yeah you have a reel in speed of about 2500-9500rpm's. That fish won't even know what hit him.
Sorry about the airplane. [sm=drowning.gif] Hopefully its easy to fix.

I always wondered, what happens when all the electronics and motor gets wet? I am very tempted hovering over a pong, but still need lots of practive for that stunt.

I agree , I think I went cross eyed for a minute or 2
Check out the video page , so far the sail plane with brushless set up was the best.

I saw that done on the TV the other day. Looked awsome, the guy pretty much had his rudder in the water!

Even if the water reached up to the servos in the wing and the cowl was totally submerged, everything seems to be in a surprisingly good condition. I dissembled the servos to let them dry, and gave the engine (saito fa 100) a huge amount of after run oil, and the bird is now back in business!

Reminds me on when I first started to fly, I was flying the NexSTAR and it went dead stick as well, I was trying to glide it in against the wind for a nice landing as the wind was strong that day, and well I didn’t quite make it to the runway, what I did was sore above a big pond and landing real nice on the WATER, Poor NexSTAR was floating like a duck. That day I had my heat gun with me so I fired it up, dried it out and took it right back in the air!! I got pretty lucky.
