I was flying with my friend at his house. We both have IFO's. The area where we fly is big enough but is bordered by trees with a few placed strategically in the flying area. I was bringing it in from the outside of the flying area (aka tree central) for a low fly by and misjudged how far out I was. The right wingtip ended up in the edge of the tree. I was sure it was going to crash but I punched full throttle and it actually kept up enough airspeed to come all the way out. It was going a little crooked and heading towards his house but I pulled it vertical went inverted and half rolled it out level to get back to safety. Being an IFO it would have been a pain free crash but I prefer to actually land. My next pass was a landing and the little bird ended up at my feet. Sweet!!!
