Subterranean Super Sportster!
Here's the remains of my GP SuperSportster 40 after a glitch (between my brain and my fingers!)[:-]. Full power on the OS46AX vertically into soft ground! I was doing a split S and had a brain fade! I had to dig the engine out with the broken prop blade as it was buried to halfway up the muffler. Note the grass! Fortunately no apparent damage to the engine although I haven't fired it up since cleaning it up. No wonder they are digging up Merlins buried 30 metres deep in peat bogs!
I think the pilot just lost his head!

RE: Subterranean Super Sportster!
I love my GP Super Sportster 60. I have a MDS 61 and when it runs right it just screams. Love it. Lose it? Will rebuild it!!!!
If I ever crash mine I will definitely rebuild it or get another one. Stupid MDS won't run right though. Thinking about getting another motor.
I started with that China ARF Mark II ( or Mark I which ever is the High wing version). I had already built the GP SS 60, but didn't want to hurt it while tring to learn to fly. After crashing the ARF I went straight into the GP SS 60 and never looked back. I have had to repair the wing due to dead sticks a few times but that is it. Stupid MDS.
Did I say I hate MDS?

Nice rebuild of the Rapture. I've kept all the bits of the Sportster but there's no time for a rebuild til at least late next year. Pity, she was literally a great plane and went like a rocket with the AX.
Nice to see what can be done with a bit of time and skill. Hope it flies well and has many happy landings.

RE: Subterranean Super Sportster!
after checking out the pic's, i've come to the conclusion it was'ent your fault... it was the fault of your pilot w/ the old leather cap he's probley not use to the power of these new planes or the touchy controls.. sorry bout the sporster, i lost mine this summer too, it was the ninja turtle in my plane that caused the crash ..
