Wind a little to high ? (retorical question) ....I cant believe how little damage there was to some of the planes, I thought for sure a couple would have cracked a wing...I espesialy liked takeoff that went strait for the camera-man

It was a blustery day..and there was a building just upwind of the runway which probably was making some severe turbulance..I know I had to dive more than once when filming. I didn't show any of the planes that didn't make it home..one 1/4 scale clipped wing cub met its maker out in the field behind the hill. It is amazing that no wings just snapped off...never thought of that before...

Come on, you guys were just hamming it up for the video, weren't you? If not, I'd think seriously about making that orange snow fence about ten feet high, just to protect everyone in the pits. I never saw so many airplanes veer straight toward the flight line on take off. I hope this was just a bad day for your pilots and not typical.
Thanks for sharing the video.

Sorry about all the frustration you must be handling as a club.
Has anyone told you to build em so they will fly.
It looks like maybe there all built to survive a crash - when you make em as strong as they appear here, they are probably too heavy to fly.
looks like some practice might be in order also.
Hope this isn't how all your pilots/planes fly since the results don't appear very rewarding as a sport/addiction many others have.
Cheers
Eric
