Trying to bring my manuvers closer to the ground, I flew a tank out inveted under 20' for entire flight. That was fun, lets try it again.
Well, after almost another tank, and my lowest pass yet, rudder dragging
I rolled out, and gained about 15' of alt. Well after that 20min of inverted flying I guess I retrained my little brain because the nose dipped and what did I do, down is up. Not any more stupid, your not inverted. To late to save it.Oh well, you know what the say, A bad day at the field is better than a good day at work.

Nearly did the same with my heli a couple of months ago. Nearly a full tank inverted, flipped her over and nearly put her hard into the ground with negative collective.

Went through it tonite, wing ok, fuse not worth fixxing. Almost every joint to the tail cracked. Only damage to engine broken needle valve.Any one got a fusalage for sale. lol

It was the second twist to go in at the field today. First one lost it in a hover(not me),split in two. Should be an easier fix though.

Hey Venom
sorry to hear about your loss - happens to the best and to me!!
Doing some inverted hovering into wind and had got used to using full power and up elevator to get out of any low speed wing drop. Not this time tho'! My (then) brand new OS46FX got buried up to the firewall!
I can see a strange exhaust in the 2nd pic - wot kind of 'zorst is that? Looks a little like an expansion chamber - kind of a mini version on what you'd see on a 2 stroke motorcycle....
Best of luck getting the fuse sorted.
cheers
Rick

It's a macs tuned pipe for o.s.engines. Gives a little more rpm than the stock. No baffles Fittings for smoke. Sounds pretty cool too.[8D] $25 or so from towwer.

I love my macs pipe. I have one for my O.S. 61. The Macs pipe also weighs about half as much as the stock muffler. Plus you get about 500 extra rpms.
Sorry about the twisted twist. I was looking at that plane for a while, it looks like a very fun plane.

very repairable - the U/C's still attached (ok, to a separate part now!) at the prop's even still intact.
Go on Venom, you can fix that!![8D]
cheers - thanks for the tip on the pipe.
BTW - is that a 46FX bolted to the macs pipe?
