Default Nitro models.com... crash

Ok guys.
about 5 weeks back i bought a katana frm nitro models and it had a carbon fiber wing bar.
i was just sport flying. and i did a snap roll and the poll snapped and the plae floated down with one wing floating over the plane until impact.
i cut the motor off. and it hit pretty hard. it can be rebuilt.. but i wish they would just replace it.
but i guess ill just rebuild..

Looks like "Nitro Models" wants to play with the big boys, but hasn't got the guts to play nice like the big boys do. If they continue to "run with scissors" very long the press will get out quick and they will get a spanking and/or get sent to the corner and go broke.
Sorry to hear about your crash. Hope the rebuild goes well for you.

once i got it home and striped it down it looks like an easy fix. just wood glue and time.
one thing i did notice that the plane looked pretty solid. and i would hate to start a hate forum agiant nitro models. (lol) it looks like just a bad tube. idk if nitro models makes these in house. but i plan on using an aluminum one this time.

G'day Mate,
Are you sure your wing bolts didn't vibrate loose, allowing all the stress to act on the wing tube, I've seen it happen before on more expensive kits,
1st rule, make sure your prop & spinner is BALANCED, not just the blades but the hub as well.
2nd rule, see rule 1.

G'day Mate,
So it wasn't just that the wing tube snapped, the snap roll was violent enough to rip out the side of the fuse, as well.

i dont know what caused it to happen. all i know is that it did. but i got the wing rebuilt and ready to be recovered. im close to having the fuse done as well. but i have to go pick up some kind of covering that matches there colors.
