Speared through the fuselage
This is a Goldberg Anniversary J3 Cub with an Enya .09 that I take
the prop off once in awhile to fly slope.
I left out over half the kit wood in the construction, so the model
is very light, and goes great on the slope.
I landed very nicely on the beach and was just rolling to a stop
when that piece of driftwood neatly speared through.
I didnt even break the pushrods
Repair took an hour.
That orange spot behind the windshield is a whistle from a dollar-
store toy that gives a nice screech in a dive.
Yes, the wing decal is on the wrong wing!

You must have a good slope location to fly a cub. Its unreal how much weight you managed to cut out of your build..
Too bad about the stick pushing through it . I wouldn't recommend flying around a tree shredder with that kind of luck !
