I lost my first plane since I started flying again.. 3 years!!!
I had my step son on the buddy box today, He'd had the sticks from take off and I never had to take it while we worked on getting it aligned with the runway..
After 12 minutes of good practice I told him to have a little fun..
He did a loop, brought it around and started a roll a little low.. When it got inverted he forgot to hold down elevator.. Things went south quick and I took it to late..
She went in nose first.. He had to take his first walk of shame...
I'll post pics when I take a few.. Fuse is broken in half at the windshield..
The wing looks OK but 6 of the LE ribs are broken.
He took it well and I told him I think we can fix it.
I'll get him setup on my old Telemaster until it's repaired.

Sorry to hear it. Poor little dude must be devastated.
Hope you can get her back into the sky again.
Still its all a learning curve. I dont reckon your a pilot until you have heard that sickening Whump! from across the airfield.
