Goldberg Cub Fuselage
Just crashed my old tried and true Goldberg cub while trying to train a newbie on it - shame on me! BTW - the wing came out just fine, but the fuselage - well, that's history.
Because I have a standard long wing and a clipped wing AND floats, I would surely like a Goldberg Anniversary CUB Fuselage in good or repairable shape.
Mine was toast! Anway, does anyone have a Goldberg CUB fuselage that they want to part with? (Maybe yours tip stalled and wrecked the wing but the fuselage is still OK?)
I'm open to any suggestions. Even if anyone wants my long wing, clipped wing and/or floats. I'm open to downsizing.
BTW - I bought a Great Planes Fabric Covered ARF in hopes these old wings would fit - but ALAS, they aren't even close! So now i'll have a bit larger CUB.
HELP - anyone with a Goldberg CUB Fuselage - send me a reply.
Thanks

RE: Goldberg Cub Fuselage
Here is a listing of the parts for the Goldberg Anniversary cub. Pick out the fuselage parts and rebuild.

So Larry
FYI - just had a grand day flying the Aeromaster.
Nice flier! Just need to remember to hold hard up elevator while taxxiing to keep it from nosing over!
About the Goldberg CUB Fuselage.
Feel like building it - leaving the tail feathers (Vertical and Horizontal stabs and control surfaces) for me to deal with later?
I'm game if you are... I can probably send you a packing box....

Ooops - the Fuse was such toast, I trashed the entire thing.
I was flying it with the cliped wing, which surprisingly came out with only a few broken ribs. None of the structural spars etc. were broken.
It didn't even shear a servo, although some of the internal servos got ripped out and the lugs broken...
I can deal with all of that and covering, just don't really want to mess with building a fuse.
Someone sent me a link for the Goldberg parts list for the Cub.
Maybe if I buy the parts - maybe you can put it together for me.
I just ain't into building anymore.
And what I meant was - build the fuselage including the tail surfaces, just don't mount them. It would be easier to ship that way.
And also, if you just want the die cut pieces, Maybe that might make the building a bit easier.
Thoughts???

If you want me to do it just have the parts drop shipped to me. All you would have to get is the Ply parts, and your cowl. I have hard wood and balsa. Just let me no and you will be flying it yet this spring

I'll check on the availability and the price.
If it all comes out much more than $100 it isn't worht it. I think I can buy a Goldberg Cub Kit on ebay for about that.
I just hate to buy a whole kit and just build the fuselage!

No problem,
If I can help just let me no, we no what the shiping is and you would get the same service as before. I don't think it would be over $100. But building from scratch you probably no what the cost of ply and the waste. The 2 sides and top deck would be the main parts to build.
There are some Cubs on the buy and sell on RCU.
