Default Transmitter Neck Straps

Do most transmitters come with a neckstrap or is that something you have to buy extra?

Sky, That's an extra. You can pick one up on eBay for$10 or less. I think DFI sells them too.

Silly heli-girl, a pink strap......hm!

$10 dollars!? [>:] I can get an 8 pack of lanyards from Staples for about $4. I think they should come with transmitters for what we pay for them.

Hi all

I have 6 radios, 2 that are both about 17 years old. They are both JR and were purchased in Las Vegas from Circus. I cannot begin to tell you about the quality of these transmitters. They are a work of art. Everything about them looks quality. from the meter down to the switches and knobs. Even the case looks like a million dollars and they both came with neckstraps!! It seems the quality just isnt there in the modern radios. When I got my Hi-tec i thought it looked cheap but when I received my new computerized Futaba it makes the Hi-tec look good!

You can still get quality transmitters.... If you're willing to pay for them.
My Dad just got one of these.

Yeah, I've heard about that one. It's kind of on the cheap side though. I wouldn't have that hoopty transmitter because it doesn't have e-mail, cell phone or internet capability.

For that kind of money it better have came with a strap. It should also come with a tail gate package. Grill and food for the flying field!

Keep it in the air, not in your garbage can!

I have been cleaning my garage and unearthed my old r/c equipment. A vintage Orbit used back in the days that I tested Bob Dunhams creations and a Kraft that I purchased just as soon as Phil had it perfefected. They are engineering mastrpeices that have not been duplicated construction wise today. They were both working when I put them away but I imagine they would still operate with new batteries. Since I flew single stick they did not need a neckstrap as you cradeled them in the left arm and all channels and trims with the right hand. It was natural to me as I was a Navy pilot in WW2. I am looking for a collector of antique r/c equipment to take them off my hands as I am a sentimental type that hate to part with the past/
