Default Backplate interchangeability

Hello Bob,

Are the backplates of a BSE FIRE 50 and a Quickie Jett .40 interchangeable?

Thanks.

I'm 99% sure that they are. They are on the cast case. Let me check.

I know the 60L and 65L backplates are definately different.

Update.......

glad I checked...... Answer is no.

outwardly and dimensionally they are the same.

On the BSE FIRE .50 backplate, there is a machined slot to clear the piston. That feature is not on the Q-500 backplate.
