Fuel Tank Size
Hello Bob - I am currently flying a Seagull Edge 540 with a Jett 100 engine and Jett Turbo muffler. I can get about 5 minute flying time out of a Hayes 16 ounce tank. Does the Jett 100 have enough pressure for fuel flow if I install a Dubro 20 ounce tank for a few more minutes of flying time?
Thanks

RE: Fuel Tank Size
You should be able to get a bit more than 5 minutes out of 16oz of fuel. At full throttle it burns about 2oz per minute, but I would imagine you are not flying it full bore all the time.
In any case, yes, the turbojett puts out more fuel tank pressure than most mufflers. You should be ok.
However, let me suggest the following .......
Go to Central Hobbies get a Tetra bubble tank, they have a 15oz and 20oz i believe. This will do two things you can use 100% of the fuel right to the last drop, and it will improve your fuel delivery.. no risk of an air bubble or fuel foam.
Well worth the investment !
