Power problem
Hey guys,
Trying to hook up the power system for my foamie , and ran into a roadblock. When I attach the battery to the ESC and hook that up to the Spektrum receiver, nothing happens. For a millisecond the orange light on the receiver flickers.
These are brand new 950mah batteries and the voltage reading is 4.6 on each cell and a total voltage of 12.6. Is this normal?
I tried two different receivers, and they both do the exact same thing.
Thanks for the help!

Well first off if each cell is reading 4.6 volts, and you are reading a total of 12.6 volts, something doesn't add up. 4.6 x 3 = 13.8? A 3S lipo fully charged should be 12.6.
From your description it almost sounds like the bec in the esc is dropping off. Can you check the servo lead off the esc to the rx for voltage?
Should be 4.8 up to 6 volts.
Also make sure you have the servo connection plugged in the correct direction.
Let me know what you find out.
