Default Johnson Motors

Has anyone used the Johnson Motors ? I have heard of a set-up, using a GWS 100 drive, With the high Ratio gears 6.? : 1 and this Johnson motor from ALL ELECTRONIC 6.v motor about the diameter of a 270 Mabuchi motor with flattened sides. This motor cost .50 cents; YES Half a Buck ! and in this drive people are saying it will get 1/3 more power, and still stay under 5 amps.
I'm waiting for the drives to come in so I can give it a shot.
Check out ALL ELECTRONIC.COM real cheap motors and other stuff.

I got my GWS 100 drives in and changed the motor to a johnson motor. This set-up is a screemer! 12x8 prop it seays under 6 amps and pulls better than a 300 drive.

I'm no expert but I bought 6 of the All Electronics motors and built a little 26" wing. Direct drive with GWS 3x3 prop (I think). It screams. Oh yes I use 2 cell 1200 LiPo.
