Default wire resistance

i have a cc pixie-7p esc and the wires are TINY. i remember reading in quiet flyer a few months ago about replacing the wiring with 16 guage. has anybody tried this with good results? how would i take a measurement? i would like to do a before and after. i'll have to dig out that issue.

any help appreciated. adios.

I wouldn't bother replacing the wires. If you are drawing close to the ESC limit, it may be best to buy a higher amp ESC instead and save the Pixie-7 for another model.

If you think that the ESC wires are small, look at the motor windings. This is where the heat problems become significant.
