Lithium Ion cells ex Notebook Computers
Can anyone advise on these cells for use with a cermark speed 480, or Graupner speed 480
(non geared).
I understand the max discharge rate is normally 2C, and the pack I've ordered is 2400mAh 11V
My motor/prop setup draws about 9 Amps, so I guess I will need to rewire to reduce voltage
and increase current capacity.
I'm still awiating the packs on mail order, so I can't be very specific at this stage, they come from a Toshiba Portege 7000 series.

RE: Lithium Ion cells ex Notebook Computers
I'm currently running 7*full size A NiMh, 7*3 prop, on a "wing dragon"
trainer. This gives 15.5 min flights.
However I'm building a flying wing called "ele Bee" from www.windrider.com.
and the Li-ion packs are earmarked for this model.
