Default wiring problem

Trying to set up my Wingo for flight and having a problem with the motor kicking in at full speed. I'm using sermo connectors and have checked everything more than once. Current seems to by pass my new FMA 20 speed control and go directly to the motor. Anyone solve this problem already?

Check the servo reverse on your radio. It's either a switch somewhere, or if you have a computer radio, it should be labeled in the menu(s) as REV or something similar.

Also - double check to make sure your speed control is plugged in to the correct throttle channel. ie: Futaba, ch 3.

Boy was that ever a dumb thing to do! I had the speed control wired backwards so the motor wires were in the battery. Took me a couple of hours to solve that one. Gesh !

Thanks for your help anyhow.
