Default Fuel-Cell?

With the rise of fuel cells in use, has anyone tried it?

Those fuelcells should be able to drive a few ducted fan or prop planes.

What do you think?

What fuel cells are you speaking of? I am unaware of fuel cells suitable for our model airplane use, so help me out here.

Default RE: Fuel-Cell?

A couple of our team members researched fuel cells for use in our UAVs. If I recall correctly, they concluded that a magnesium fuel cell could power an R/C plane. However, it probably wouldn't be able to carry much else. The power to weight ratio of fuel cells is apparently still way below batteries.
