Default Please Help Really Confused..

ok im just getting into micro rc helicopters.... i need some li-ion/li-poly for battery i got honey bee 2 it came with a 3 cell 11.1V li-ion 1200 mAh batetry with JST connectors i think , i am confushed about what connectors should i use what wire and what is safe for it, the other forum said it would be dangerous to use JST connector on a 3cell im confushed ......

Don't worry about it. JST connectors can handle upwards of 15 Amps continously. If you upgrade the heli to a more powerful brushed or brushless motor, then you might consider moving to Deans Ultra, Jeti, or Astro Flight connectors which can handle much more current. See Hobby Lobby's page for a good list of connectors...

ive seen jst's only being rated for 8amps not 15 maybe i'm wrong.. minideans polarized are much better for 5-15amps, IMO
