ok im just getting into micro rc helicopters.... i need some li-ion/li-poly for battery i got honey bee 2 it came with a 3 cell 11.1V li-ion 1200 mAh batetry with JST connectors i think , i am confushed about what connectors should i use what wire and what is safe for it, the other forum said it would be dangerous to use JST connector on a 3cell im confushed ......

Don't worry about it. JST connectors can handle upwards of 15 Amps continously. If you upgrade the heli to a more powerful brushed or brushless motor, then you might consider moving to Deans Ultra, Jeti, or Astro Flight connectors which can handle much more current. ive seen jst's only being rated for 8amps not 15 maybe i'm wrong.. minideans polarized are much better for 5-15amps, IMO
