Default Help LI-Poly charging Help!!!!!!!!!!!

Need help in charging Li-Poly battery

I have a Astroflight 109 lithium charger and a Tanic LiPo 11.1volt 2500mah 3s

I went to the flying field and charged the battery pack went to fly the plane and only got about
4 min. tops before the battery dropped off and had to land. Battery is installed in a world models Skylane
with a jet brush-less motor and gearbox (4 to 1) 9 x 6 prop and a castle creations pixie - 20p speed control.
What are the amps I should be charging this battery at? Also what else am I doing wrong? This is my first
venture with brush-less motors and lithium polymer batteries.

Tailblade

Sorry guys I listed the wrong speed control. What I have is a castle creations Phoenix 35 and the MP JET 25/35-20 Mk2 motor.
Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

The Astro 109 is a very reliable charger. For your pack you should SLOWLY turn up the charge current to 2.5 amps after the batttery is connected, then watch for the cell count and that it is for 3 cells. When fully charged you will get an indication. OK, now the charger is working OK. Any idea of what your motor is drawing, knowing this you should be able to pretty well estimate your flight time. What is your Castle Creations ESC cut-off set for? It could be cutting off early. I would recommend 2.8 volts X No of cells.

So for a 2 cell LiPo that would be 5.6, but the Pixie only offers 5.0 or 6.0 so which should a cell LiPo battery get set at for LVC
