Default mini u.s. p-n-p electronics problem, please help!

I'm fairly new to electric flight. The mini ultra stick in my first electric plane. It is the plug and play version, with a 2100 3 cell li-po. The problem I am having is the motor fails to run. I get the beeps from the speed controller and the motor briefly spools up to around 1/4 power, then stops. The battery has power, and has only been charged 6-8 times.

The problem started after a nose over at partial throttle, which of course stalled the motor. After retrieving the plane, I launched the plane again, and it flew fine for a few seconds. It started to lose power, so I brought it in thinking the battery was low. The next time I take it out is when I started having this problem. Is it possible something is damaged? (motor or speed control) Anyone have any ideas?

I presume that you charged up your Lipoly and know it to be full.
If you have a second speed controller, do a swap and test again.
If you have another motor do the same next.
Do you have a watt-meter to see what happens when you give full throttle?
When the motor stops, does it feel excessively hot compared to usual (not the best way of diagnosing).
Try taking it to a local hobby shop for them to look at it. Tell them that you want to buy a replacement for whatever is broken. If they are cool they should diagnose it for free in hopes of selling you the replacement for the damaged part. If not try another shop.

By the way I have the big one, UTS lite 120, and lately I've been eyeing the new UTS 25 to do an electric conversion(upgrade).

How do you like yours? Did you do a quad flap or just 2 Ailerons?

Have fun
