Default Lipo for Parkzone FW190, does it make a difference?

Does the lipo battery really make a difference? And how much does it make a difference? is it worth buying?

Thanks.

If you get a brushless motor to go with it, it makes a huge difference. They pack/deliver a ton more power for their weight than an equally weighted NiMh. The power to weight ratio is great with LiPo's. They are completely worth it. If you get the motor to go with it.

I agree that lipos will result in better performance for almost any plane. But a brushless motor is not required in order to benefit from a lipo.

Assuming the motor will work properly on the voltage provided by a lipo, the benefits of the lipo's lighter weight and better power-to-weight ratio will be there, regardless of whether the motor is brushed or brushless.

Brushless motors have their own advantages, of course, and the combination of a brushless motor AND a lipo is best of all.
