NiCd Discharger
Hello,
Have a couple small foam / light balsa style park fliers (GWS for example). Just dabbling in the electric thing, so I'm keeping my costs reasonable by using NiCds where I can. I don't always fly the battery down to cutoff, so I'm looking for an inexpensive yet reasonably good discharger. Would ideally like something that will discharge them down to the proper voltage per cell level and then stop.
Have a charger, just looking for a discharger.
Thanks,
Frank

RE: NiCd Discharger
Not flying to cutoff is a good thing, at least for the plane Every landing being an emergency landing gets old after a while if you ask me...
If you're looking for a discharger to deal with the so-called "memory" problem, don't worry about it. Memory is no longer an issue with newer NiCd technology. Proper voltage for long-term storage is about half charge.
