well the bc6 is gona cost less if you are going to be charging lipo's because with the hyperion you are going to have to buy a separate balancer (lba 10 or something and a data cable).

That being said, are you ever going to be charging anything over about 6s lipo? What types of packs are you going to be charging?

either way you'll win, they are both fine chargers.

Hi there,
i'm not familair with the BC6, but a friend of mine is using the Hyperion. I don't know about your country but in Europe it's selled under several brandnames. It's a great charger, but you have to buy a seperate balancer as mrasmm already mentioned.

If it's allowed to make a suggestion: I use a Electrify Triton2 charger, this charger also needs a separate balancer. I love this charger, it's capable for charging / discharging all kinds of battery's: Pb, Nicad, Nimh, and Lipo's. It can cycle your battery's up to 10 times !

Here's a link for specs and productinfo at [link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXMAJ0&P=ML]Tower[/link]

Just my two cents [8D]

sounds like the bc6 is gona be less money by the time you get it all figured out. If you are going to be planning on charging over 6s lipo's in the future you may want to go with the hyperion charger because the bc will only charge up to 6 cells lipo. the bc-6 can charge a123's and I imagine so can the hyperion, I'm not 100% on that though. GL with whatever you pick.
