How do you compare motors??
I am long time flyer fairly new to electirc. I purchased a Thermick Dream Sailplane. The motors that are recommended are a Hacker B50 9s or a Medusa 128-056-1900. or a Mega 22/45/3. What is the best way to compare these or other motors? What am I looking for?
Any help will be appriciated.
Wingspan:
118" (3000mm) Length:
58" (1470mm) Weight:
95 oz. (2700g) 5,6 channels
Good: Mega 22/45/3, 13x7/14x9.5 folding
Better: Hacker B50 9S 6.7:1, 18x10 folding
8/12-1700NiCD/3000NiMH
TP5300 3S4P/4S4P
40mm spinner
Any help will be appriciated.

RE: How do you compare motors??
I personally would go with Hacker as they have been around the longest in Electric motors and are very high quality. You may pay a little more but you got Quality.
another very good motor is the one made by Castle Creations. These are made in the U.S. and are tested on a dynomometer oops poor spelling.
give castle a call they are very fine people. I own a hobby shop and they have been very helpful as I too am new to electric. If I have a problem, they always sovlve it for me. GIve them a try.
