Default HELP !!

Help, I plugged a LiPo in and the + & - were reversed. I saw a bit of smoke and quickly unplugged it. I placed the battery in a metal box and let it sit over night. The battery isn't puffed and there appears to be no damage outside but I was wondering if this battery is any good now or should I just discard it. I checked the voltage and it's 12.+ V
Thanks in advance

Default RE: HELP !!

I would think it would ruin whatever it was plugged into and not the battery.

Default RE: HELP !!

Thanks for the reply, actually the ESC's felt warm but I plugged another battery in and they seemed to be working OK.
I'm going to wait a few days to see if anything happens and then try it again. These LiPo's can be tricky, a friend had one just
suddenly ignite on him. He wasn't charging it or anything, it just went up in smoke.
