Blade 120sr battery charging from 4 port celectra?
Hi People.
Ive just moved from the mcx2 to the 120 sr and loving it!.
I bought the e-flite 4 port celectra charger for the mcx2 120mah batteries, but was also told when i bought the 120 sr that this charger would do its 500mah batteries too with the converter.Anyone know for sure?
The variable charger that comes with the 120 is 700mah but the celectra charger is rated at 300mah so im not convinced...

RE: Blade 120sr battery charging from 4 port celectra?
So your batteries would be charged at less than 1C (300 mAh charger / 500 mAh battery), and would will probably last longer. LIPO batteries are typically rated at 2C charge rate (some newer batteries are rated higher - up to 15C on nano-tech types ). At 2C, this would mean a max of 1A (or 1,000 mAh) charge for the 500 mAh battery.
