Default servos

Ok i just installed all new servos on my 400. ds 285 and a ds290g and a g270 gyro. Now am i correct in saying that you have to reverse all of them with the exception of the throttle and rudder? And also my rudder won't center when you neutralize the stick is this normal when it is sitting still but then it will also do it when it is spun up.Thanks

You have to check the control direction, merely replacing them doesn't mean you have to reverse them.

With a heading hold gyro it wont recenter the tail servo like a normal channel while its sitting on the bench.

I'm just saying check it first, if you were to say switch a futaba out with a hitec then yes you'd have to reverse the channel. It just depends on how the servo's are wired inside.

I do because I don't like the helicopter jumping around when changing flight modes, also in an emergency I don't have to think about any switch flipping
