Default MSR forward flight

I'm stumped[]

When I first got the MSR it was flying great. Now my issue is it will not fly forward as fast as it use to. I can barely make forward movement. I have tried trim and also move the battery as far forward as possible. My last ditch effort was to glue 2 copper BB's in the nose to hopefully get it moving forward. I know this thing was a rocket when new but no it will barely fly forward with full forward on the gimbal.

Looking at the servo travel it appears that I am not getting enough travel on the servo. I did take the linkage off and could'nt tell if there was any threads on the link but I tried turning the link to shorten the length.

Any ideas?

Yeah, I just went through something similar with mine, no forward or right control. Turned out to be the blades grips and flybar links. There is a red tool in the box, find the instructions for it and check it out. Ireplaced the blades, links and flybar and loosened the grips a bit, now mine is flying like new again. You should have spare links and flybar in the package, and I bought spare blades when Igot mine. I am so happy it wasnt the 5n1.

lbarnes.....

Make sure that your upper/lower swashplate has not separated.
The swash plate is a 2 piece (3 piece if you count the bearing) assembly.
The two pieces are a press fit, and will start to come apart after a few hard crashes.

Got it

I checked the swashplate and found that it did not come apart but that it had seperated slightly and this was effecting the travel of the plate. Pushed everything back in place and now I have forward flight.

Thanks for the advice.
