so my SR tail just failed recently do to a fialed esc. and i was looking into getting the belt drive system from freestyle hobby and 85$?!?!?!??!?! NO! i want to take my electronics out of that heli, and put them into something more 3D. i looked at the EXI250, too small i think. don't like that size. anyone have some suggestions what to get?i don't want to replace any of the electronics i have in it now. (I have the stock motor, esc, gyro, but hitec HS-65 servos) would that motor and esc work in a 450? or inexpensive motor/esc combo to go with EXI-450 from Xheli?

Yes, upgrade to a 450 EXI.. it is a much nicer heli than the SR..

You can use the HS65 servos, they fit perfectly... but get a DS480 for the tail servo from Hobbyking.. best tail servo you can buy for the price.. also consider upgrading to a HK401B gyro (only $11).. it is vastly superior to the Eflite Gyro.

I am using it in my EXI 450... it is not overly powerful but has plenty of power for sport flying, IE loops, rolls and inverted..
