Having some trouble programing a DX6i to my BNF Blade 120 SR. I also have the Blade MCPX and successfully programed it to the DX6ithere was a page in the manual giving every setting needed(swash type, servo reversing, etc.). There wasn't a similar page in the 120 manual, so I used the setting from the MCPX to start with....later figured out from this forum to use the 120 swash plate setting...
The 120 binds to the transmitter and the throttle, rudder and aileron all seem to work as they are supposed to, but I don't have any elevator(forward and back) authority. The elevator servo is set to "R" and believe it is correct. I have tried putting it back to "N" and still have very little elevator authoritymoves just a tiny bit.
Have searched through this forum as best I can, but can't seem to find much on programming the DX6i to the bird.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Use the airplane setting, the Heli one gave me trouble too. When I get home, if I remember, I will post my settings. Imay have it back on Heli now so Ican use the throttle cut. Ibasicaly bound it, and flew it, no changes made. Try wiping the settings, or rebind it to another model.

Thanks very much for the reply
I talked to Horizon Hobby yesterday and the guy helping me said the board sounded bad, so they're sending another one. After hanging up, I did manage to get the servo to work a bit by rotating the gear-it works eratically for awhile and then hangs up again.
While talking to him, I ask about the radio settings and he said same as youto fly it under Airplane rather than Heli at first. Looking back on it, I guess I was trying to make it more complicated than it really is...
thanks again for the help

I did that binding my SR to the DX6i and messed up the pitch really bad on the SR trying to get it to be even at mid throttle on the DX6i, Overcomplicated it. Switched it back to the stock radio instead. Better to learn it on the stock one anyway.
