Default Dumb question about transmitters...



Ok, Ihave six Blade heli's, all the way from an MCX2 up to an SR and most in between.

I use a couple of LP5DSM E-Flite / Spektrum radios to fly them and Ihave a good understanding of how binding works. Ican switch the remotes between heli's in a matter or seconds.

So, with my growing fleet, Iam thinking it is time to buy a DX6 and get all the benefits of that.

My question is, do Ihave to buy a Spektrum radio to fly Blade helis or could Ibuy a JRRadio or Futaba? Would they bind just as easily?

Do those two companies have a DX6i equivalent or are they a more high end radio?

Trying to educate before Ibuy...

What you are looking for are transmitters which are compatible with the Spektrum DSM2 technology. Have a look at the following:
