Hi folks, i have a little problem with my heli.
my friend crashed his bcx2 and boght a smaller and less complicated heli. he gave me his broken bcx2, i had to change the battery holdet, skids and the rear body. when i did all the pre-flight checks i found that the outer shaft is slightly out of round and the heli is shaking a little-bit. when i try to hover the heli takes off and stabilize in the air for 2 sec, then it start to spin clockwise, i tried to ajust the trim but at some point it spins clockwise, i give a tiny click of trim and the heli start to spin out conterclockwise... ive tried to ajust the"main motor proportional mix" and still the same thing but the trim "sensitive point" change location on the trim travel
. any idea of what could be the problem ? could to a video of the shake and the problem on demand
thanks in advance folks

i"ve inspected me heli and foud the lower rotor head was broken. i changed it, the heli is way more stable in the air but it still do the same thing!!! ive tried to play with the main motor proportional mix and still the same thing, the thing hover like a charm but still spin on itself. if it is spinning clockwise, i trim the control one click to the left and then the heli start to spin conter-clockwise. i tried to set the gyro gain at different segttings and in can't see any difference. videos can be mad to visualize the problem. thanks for your help

Hey bro, I have some pretty good experience with bcx2 electrical issues, let me know if you still need some help. Meanwhile, check out my prior posts on the subject regarding the 3 in 1- there is an adjustment pot on the board that the manual mentions nothing about... it has to do with motor bias- not to be confused with the proportional adjustment pot.

if it was wrecked then i would be inspecting every part you arent going to fix a broken or bent part by adjusting things in the tx ! not to mention the other things your damaging " like bearings, motors, and pretty much anything esp if you crashing "even more" because your trying to adjust a vibration out using the tx instead of replacement parts . use common sense and your wallet as the hobby is not cheap at all. sure you can get cheaper parts but are they as good? some say yes some say no. i say afford what you can and dont get into the "hey i have a 500 dollar gyro" where some of the 50 dollar gyros are just as good until you get into really hard flying then it probably matters. just look at the g3tb by flysky lmao it has all the high dollar tx rx users himming and hawing about it !

Lol, last time I crashed mine turned out to be the most expensive to date... had to replace the 3n1 as well as the receiver. At first everything looked ok, the usual broken body mounts and skids- the shafts and flybar were still perfect, as well as all the brand new micro heli aluminum and xtreme parts, even the blades were fine. Put things back together and it wouldn't bind anymore... hmmm, upon further inspection, the esc case wasn't staying closed... the esc mixer board was bent and missing the covers for the rate sensors. No biggie, I had picked the bcx2 used in a supposedly "broken" condition, and had finally found that it had been maladjusted from the factory. Many many flights and crashes later, I finally had to buy something that cost more than $5 and wasn't just an upgrade. Still couldn't get it to bind though, so I went and ordered a new receiver. Whatever, imho, the bcx2 is on par with something like an old rc10- decent out of the box, and a huge aftermarket.... my bcx2 and my old trusty rc10 were and are so reliable and easy to fix, that they became boring to me (in a very relative way- nothing boring about this hobby). Anyway, hopefully I get to fly this weekend....
