Make sure that these 3 things are in the correct position:
1: throttle / collective sticl all the way down
2: throttle trim all the way down
3: mode switch in the "normal" position (towards the back of the controller).
Pretty sure thats what you are seeing.

I agree with RPETOT, it's easy to over look.

I just purchased a CP and am having the same issue. 4 quick blinks of a red LED when I first plug it in followed by never ending red-green LEDs. I have the throttle at 0 the trim at zero and the idle up towards the rear of the TX. This is frustrating..... Any ideas?

Well I kept messing with it and it turns out the TX crystal was not making good contact. That took care of the blinking LEDs. Unfortunately, it looks as if the 4 in 1 is also bad. The main motor will not spin just the tail rotor. I switched the leads around and then the main motor will spin but not the tail.
I am NOT impressed with E-Flite quality right now. The worst part is I am about 120 miles from the Hobby Shop were I bought it. I don't know when I will be able to get back down there. Should I just contact E-flight instead?
Very disapointed[&o]

contact Horizon. But you must be sure to tell them it was not crashed. The 4 in 1 is the most expensive part on the heli at about $65 retail. Youll have to send it in, and itll take about a week and a half.
