My tail rotor spins, not the main one. Do I need a new 4 in 1? I just got it about a week ago. What should I do? These 4 in 1s are expensive!

Does the main motor spin? Is the main motor plugged in? Does the tail motor spin if you plug it into the main motor spot on the 4 in 1 and you give it a little throttle? I can't reakky help more than that without more info.

Well, it's hard to say what is causing it. Could be the 4 in 1, but could also be the motor, wires, TX, etc.
Do you have another motor you can simply plug into the 4 in 1 to test it? Also, if you hook a battery directly to your motor, does it run? If not, then it is probably bad.
If you have a meter, check the conductivity of the motor leads to make sure they are not broken somewhere....

Ok, i switched the tail motor for the main one. The main one spins, but the tail doesn't. It's the 4in1 right? Where can I get one for the cheapest?

Yeah, it sounds like it's the 4 in 1. Did the rotor get blocked while power was being applied to the motor? If so, it probably burned out the MosFET for the main motor channel.
If you've only had it a week, Horizon Hobby might replace it for free. You should contact them.
Also, I know some people have been able to get replacement FETs and fix it themselves. If you have good soldering skills, you should search the forums to find the info about this.
I don't know of the 'best place' to buy a new 4 in 1, but it shouldn't cost you more than about $70.00. Just google it, and compare prices.
