New radio for Blade CP Pro.
I was just wondering what "shift" E-Flite receivers were? I was thinking about using my Futaba 9Z in the future. After I learn how to fly it a little better. Does anyone know if this will work with the stock receiver? Or can the 3 in 1 be used with an aftermarket receiver?

RE: New radio for Blade CP Pro.
I took my 4-in-1 apart and i'm going to use a hitec reciever.
The esc gyro and mixer are in the same casing, which can be seperated from the reciever. Its not the same as the 3-in-1 that horizon(e-flite) sells because it has the servo connections in the casing so they hook into the reciever. But if you already have the 4-in-1 it might be worth the trouble.(for the price)

So the 3 in 1 I have won't work with say an Electron 6 receiver and my 9Z? I was going to do the conversion sooner rather than later so I didn't have to re learn a new transmitter.

Ok I just went to the E Flite web site looks like I can use the 3 in 1 but not the 4 in 1. I'll try the conversion tonight and let you know how it works out.
I also plan on changing the JST connectors with Dean's 2 pin micros. I have 2 Flite Power 3s 800mah packs for my planes that I could then use with the CPP for a total of four batteries. Does anyone know if 2 heat sinks will fit on each motor?
Has anyone used a seperate gyro other than the E Flite one? I don't have the E Flite one but have heard good things about what it does for the flight characteristics. I was thinking about one of the Futaba ones.
