Default Paddle pitch??

Hey guys got a question about the angle on the flybar paddles. Mine came from the factory with an angle on them (not sure what % cuz I dont have a pitch guage). Now I think Im gonna put on the BellHiller head but Im afraid of messing up the pitch on the paddles. Can this be set with a pitch guage and if so how do you know what angle they should be set at?? Or should they be flat??

They're suppose to be flat, but i don't think a slight postive pitch would cause any problems(i never could get mine flat)

well like he said they paddles arent supposed to have pitch. there supposed to be flat. most newbies make the assumption that they are suppsoed to produce lift. they provide better control response. for the best flying blade they must have a pitch of 0 wheneverything is level. This is very very important.

Yep, in the manual it states that they should be level with the flybar holder frame thingy... In other words, 0 pitch.....

I have found, however, that giving them just a tiny amount of + pitch (no more than about 1degree) makes the heli hover a little easier. I guess it slows control response a little.

yes it will dampen the control response but not enough to be noticeable. the ovly thing i see this doing is making the motor work harder because of the increase in drag. now i dont suggest doing this because its not specified in the manuel that this is something to do. follow the manual and you should have a good flying blade.

Mine came with about 1 degree positive pitch, the main thing I think would be to make sure they're the same and not negative or a significant amount positive. I imagine having them not matching would be very very bad,
