CP Pro, great for learning inverted flight
I'm kind of new to helis, about 60 flights (none inverted) on a .30 size glow and 12 flights on my CP Pro. Today, after a total of 4 hours on the sim last week, I decided to just flip the CP on its back and try some forward inverted flight. I was surprised how stable the Pro was!!! I flew the whole battery inverted and by the end of the battery I was doing FF inverted flight. My Pro is stock except for a brushless on the main rotor but stock should do just as well, power wasn't an issue.
I think there is a little less "pucker factor" with the Blade over a glow and that made the difference for me. I tend to try more with the Blade vs my glow heli.
I'll have to confess I ended up hitting hard in the weeds once when it got too far away for my 40 year old eyes and I lost orientation. Cost me a whopping $6 for a new main shaft

I use realflight G2 and just fly the Raptor 30. Feels pretty close to the CP Pro with a brushless except the raptor has heading hold on the tail.

RE: CP Pro, great for learning inverted flight
In idle-up or stunt mode your throtle stick gives full throttle at the ends and low throttle in the middle. The pitch is zero in the middle and +/- 12 at the two ends. So, when inverted, if the throttle stick is at the bottom you'll be at full throttle and climbing. If the throttle stick is around the middle you'll be hovering and at the top you'll be at full throlle and SCREAMING for the ground. On the right stick fore and aft and reversed but left and right are not. On the left stick for and aft as well as left and right are reversed from upright flight.
I'd stick to loops, rolls, flips and some other stuff first.
Practice on the sim first!!! It's not easy when you first try it but after a few hours you'll get it.
