Default Tempted by Tower hobbies

I was just browsing Tower Hobbies and their Sept. and Oct. promo includes an MX400 on sale for $130 Canadian. Pretty cheap when you consider my LHSs are selling it for 180 bucks.
Even with the shipping cost it would still be dirt cheap. The MX with brushless motor and esc is only around 280 American. Thats around 320 or 330 Canadian. My guys are selling it for 385.
Oh evil Tower Hobbies stop tempting me!!!!

Psht, this answers my question in the other topic. I'll definitely check this out. Let's see, if only I had some disposable income...

Psikelly...Does that come with a motor and ESC?..because you can get a T REX 450x like I did that comes with the esc and motor for $215 (US). That was from my LHS. I think you can do better on line....now you'll have a TREX...not a copy of a TREX.

Just thinking outloud.

Hi guys,

Got the co pilot today, can't install it yet, still waiting on parts for the falcon. Should have them monday or tuesday at latest.

See pics,

Of course the box, then the co pilot itself and it's interface with the receiver. The thingie on the left is a tail motor for a CP, just to give you a size comparison.

Sweet! Youll have to let us know the same day you fly that thing so we know what its like. If I do end up getting an MX that would be the next add-on if its worthwhile.

lol Wingman. My wife is pretty understanding when it comes to the RC stuff. I quit smoking a little over a year ago and so I still use the " but honey if I was smoking I would have spent WAY more than that. And Id also die sooner from all that bad nicotine and tar" lol But seriously, shes pretty supportive of my hobby and she has hers (fish) which can be equally as expensive. But I still have to watch the wallet and limit myself. If I didnt I'd be living in a cardboard box, With LOTS of really cool toys though

Yea, that cool. Unluckly the limitation for me is my mom, and she doesn't want me getting tons of new toys

Goldfish and all those other weird kinds. You wouldnt believe how expensive that gets. She spent like $300 just to get a tank and some other crap so she could grow aquatic plants.Think of all the gear I couldve bought with that.

Wow, thats some expensive stuff. I had goldfish once, they all died somewhat quickly. Once when we were cleaning the tank they jumped out of the bowl and commited suicide and my dad stepped on one. The others just died of old age or something.

LOL, optomism! I'm working on a RC club for my high school, hopefully i can find people who are interested in learning to fly, or who know how to fly, (im gunna see if we can convince the school to get some CX's and a CP or 2 from my LHS (im good friend with them) and we can set something up for lunchtime flying practices. One battery will got for about 15-20 mins and thats enough time for people to eat and come and for a little basic instruction on helicopter parts and such. Our periods are 50 minutes long so there might be a little wait time, but i think it'll work. Sadly i don't know to many girls who are into things such as remote control helicopters or anything like that.
