Hey guys,
Does anyone know if the stock 4-in-1 for the blade cp can control a brushless system (motor, esc) and can the 4-in-1 control an after market gyro?
If this can be done I'd like to explore the belt conversion offered by heli direct. I'm told by HeliDirect that the stock BCP head can be used with that conversion. If the stock TX and 4-in-1 can be used, then all we're looking at to get into a belt driven tail is $55 for the conv.; $15 for the plastic tail; $20 for the landing gear and mainshaft/main gear combo; $80 for the motor, esc, and adapter; and $65 for the gyro.
$235 for a higher quality, belt driven Blade cp sounds good but only if you can use the stock radio gear.
I'm also really interested in the E-Sky Belt CP. It's around the same price but doesn't come with and radio gear.
Any thoughts?

No a brushed esc cannot and does not send the same electric pulses required by brushless motor. Now if you use the adaptor supplied then the answer will be yes.
If you are going to do all that I would get a T-Rex, MX400 or Shogun V2. But who am I, that's your money. Have fun!!!

YES I CAN ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS CHANGE YOUR 4 IN 1 TO A THREE IN ONE AND RECEIVER. AND TO DO THAT YOU NEED TO SOLDER THE RECEIVER SIDE. FIRST TAKE APART YOUR 4 IN 1 AND ON THE RECEIVER SIDE SOLDER CH 3 AND 4 SO THAT THEY ARE ON THE SAME SIDE AS THE OTHER CH 1,2,5,6 NOW ON THE GYRO SIDE IT WILL BE THE THREE IN ONE AND YOU WILL HAVE TO ADD CONNECTORS TO IT WHERE THE PIN FROM THE RECEIVER WHERE CONNECTED AND THE GET THE BLADE CP PRO MANUAL AND CONNECT LIKE ITS SAY IN THE BACK. NOW YOU HAVE A 3 IN 1 AND RECEIVER WHIT MORE OPTIONS. MINE WORKS GREAT
