I just bought one of those Huey fuslage assemblies for my blade CP. OMG it looks flimsy. I might have a LEAD SLED when I'm done fitting it so it has a little strength. I guess the scale is 1:25 and I'm having a little trouble finding landing skids that would look scale and not run $25.00. Any ideas? Maybe I should have got the Bell206 instead of the Huey. If I built this POS the way the directions say, I wouldn't be able to access the 4in1, main motor, servos, etc. It has to be modular where you can take it apart, has strength and flies well. It's a prospective NIGHTMARE. I'm going to have to hand make bulkheads and stringers out of light thin balsa to give it some strength. I'm also going to have to make it so you can break it down for parts replacement and repair. Watch what fuselage kit you buy.

Can you say "areospace engineer"? I see Li-Po's, heat sinks, and a 370 motor in my future. Yes, I admit you're right...it'll be fun. It's not a bolt on and fly that's for sure. Check out his building hints website. http://mysite.verizon.net/biz7pq2f/instr/xheli.htm
No way would this be acceptable in strength, you've got to beef it up a little. The way he builds it, the slightest tail strike...your done.
My money is on 1/16 balsa for bulkheads and 1/8 square balsa for framing of the fuselage, 1/16 x 1/16 square for stringers, sparingly for weight factor. LOL
