I have a stock CP Pro and was wondering how hot the motor should run.
I don't have temp gauges but the motor seems to be running on the hot side.
For example, immediately after running out a battery pack, I hold my finger against the motor.
I can only hold my finger against the motor for 5 secs. After that, the heat is too much and I have to pull away.
Is this normal or is my motor too hot?

Agreed.
Remember, it's a brushed motor. Friction = heat. Lots of heat.
I wouldn't sweat it, if it's performing normally, it's not an issue.

11.1 volts times about 7 amps is, oh, I don't know, but could you hold your finger on a 60-watt light bulb for very long?
Hot is normal, funny odor is starting to get too hot, smoke is, well, smokin'....
Heat does reduce the life of permanent magnet motors, it is best to cool off a few minutes between battery packs.
