THe top part of the inner shaft broke on my cx2 and i replaced it with the metal upgrade one, but the gear back on the shaft, and it flies nothing like it used to. I used to be able to take it up and hover with no problems but now when i get to about half throttle, it flies forward and to the left. I have set the trims as far as they will go and it still seems to have a mind of its own. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

Ohhh, so many things. We need more information. When I traded my broken inner shaft for the aluminum one, it did fly differently. Not worse, but different. So, you changed the inner shaft for a reason. The flybar mount got broken? And how did that happen? Might something else have gotten 'readjusted' in the process? It sort of sounds like the swash plate might be loose or it split or something. If so, I hope someone else will jump in here. I've had some horrible crashes and my swash plate is fine. Others seem to knock theirs out of whack regularly. It snaps together, and in a wreck it can come unsnapped. or snapped apart. whatever. You might look there.
If everything seems to be stable, you can always adjust the link from the servos to the swash. It would be odd that both servos are out of whack, but if you crash involved being run over or something, it's possible. You didn't take off the tail body or something to throw the balance off, did you?
This is a great forum. With enough information, anything can be resolved.

Yes, I had to replace the inner shaft because the flybar mount was broken. The crash wasn't anything really.. The blades scraped the wall at about 5 feet and it fell to the side. I put the new inner shaft in, installed the gear and that was it. Now it won't fly stable at all. As soon as it's in the air, its like it has a mind of its own. From what I can tell, the swash plate wasn't knocked lose, as it is in the same place as it was before. Any other ideas???
