Default alternative to e flites brushless motor...

After having just hit the trash can and ruining my 48 dollar motor... I wondered if there is a less expensive brushless motor out there and where do I get it from?[&o]

I have drilled brushless motors in the ground on my air planes. Have not lost one yet.
Are you sure its the motor and not the speed control? Most speed controls have built in motor protection too.
